Singing

There has been lots of singing at our house lately. Sabrina LOVES to sing. She wakes up singing in the morning, she sings at meals, in the bathtub, while playing, at bedtime, she sings all the time. She amazes and impresses us with her ability to remember the words and tune of many songs, her repertoire is expanding rapidly. Some of her favorites to date are: Old McDonald Had a Farm, The Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Popcorn Popping, Do As I'm Doing, Bingo, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, Where is Thumbkin, Happy Family, I am a Child of God, 5 Little Monkeys, and Stairway to Heaven (OK, just kidding about that last one) the list could go on. We've had several people at church who are in the nursery tell us how much she loves to sing and how impressed they are that she knows all the words to the songs. Benson and Grace also like to sing and know many songs but they are not as willing or as enthusiastic as Sabrina is, nor were they when they were her age.
Here's the best video I have gotten so far of her singing. Old McDonald is hands down her favorite. This video also gives a nice snapshot of the struggle for attention that is constantly being played out at our house and a little bit of the ATTITUDE that has recently been surfacing from somewhere deep inside Sabrina.

So cute! Kate loves to sing too, it has always amazed me that she knows the words to so many songs at such a young age. To answer your question, Tina is having a girl. She is due 6 weeks before me. So, we'll both have one of each, just not in the same order. It'll be fun, but with some actual planning maybe we could have helped each other more!

That was wonderful! Thank you for the mini-concert. Your kids are so cute and talented. They are definitely following in their parents (and aunts & uncles)footsteps!
